Today, the 5th June, 2022, Sunday,
VKV Tumpreng observed the World Environmental Day with great enthusiasm. The
program started with VKV ritual in the presence of students, teaching amd non
teaching staff of the school, Three members of Science Society, Assam and a
chief guest. The chief guest ,a retired professor, Sri Sushabhan Sarkar of
Rabindranath Tagore University, Hojai spoke about the significance of the day.
The programme concluded with everyone taking pledge to be more eco-friendly as
well as a plantation drive was also carried out in the school premises. The
total number of participants were approximately 70.
