SHANKARDEV TITHI CELEBRATION

Shankardev Tithi was celebreated at VKV, Tumpreng On 4th Sept 2024, Wednesday enthusiastically.
The program was started with Mangalacharan and continued with Borgeet Sung by Subha Hukai student of class VII, followed by felicitation of Chief Guest, Satriya dance by students, Speech by the chief Guest.
To pay homage to Mahapurush Srimanta Shankardev , Diha Naam was sung by students.
Respected Smt Kalpana Devi Asst teacher,M.B.High School, Taradubi, West Karbi Anglong, an educationist and social workerwas the chief guest as well as the speaker of the day. She elaborately spoke on the life sketch of Mahapurush Srimanta Shankardev and also talks about his contribution, towards the Assamese Cultures and Literature, The event was concluded with Shanti mantra and prasad distribution.
Total number of participants was 170 including all.
