Today, the 10th of September, 2022, Saturday, VKV, Tumpreng celebrated Universal
Brotherhood Day to commemorate the eye-opening Chicago Speech by Swami
Vivekananda at
the World Parliament of Religion.
The program started with mangalacharan followed by Vivek Geet by students,
Chicago Address
by student, dance by students and speech by guests. Sri Dipen Timung, former
BDO (In charge),
Rongkhang Block was the Guest of Honour and Sri Khumbha Kanta Barman, Advisor,
Prakalpa
Unnaya Samity, VKV, Tumpreng was the special guest for the celebration.
The program started at 9:30 AM and was winded up at 10:30 AM.
Total number of participants including all was 160.
