Tumpreng
Tumpreng is an area which is located 10 km. from Hojai town in West Karbi Anglong, Assam. It is inhabitant by different communities of Karbi, Dimasa, Nepali, Assamese, Bengali, Garo, Boro and Bihari, Tiwa. This place is enriched with different culture and tradition.
The scenic beauty of Tumpreng is admired by all the visitors at Sing Ronghang Memorial Park situated on the bank of Kopili river.
The people residing in Tumpreng mostly dependent on Agriculture, Hand-loom and Animal's Husbandry. Tumpreng has higher literacy rate compare to Assam as per to the census of 2011.
